Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store saved on energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing or repairing broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could headed for major repairs later. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing panels or shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak into your home. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check brickwork and cinder blocks for cracks. Indoors, verify ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off wannabe porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
