There is always a great selection available in store, along with new products that I have never seen before. Our most recent purchase was kitchen appliances and the red white and blue sale saved us an unbelievable amount of money!

the store and the people who work at the Mattoon Home Depot is outstanding, the service was great.

,6/11/15 Purchased special order of 17 boxes of Maple Chocolate 2 1/2in flooring that was to contain 20sg ft in each box. Upon pickup of order noticed that at least 4 boxes had been previously opened, and called this to employee's attention. All items were bundled together on skid load, and loaded in rear of truck by an end loader. Upon install of flooring noticed at least 4 boxes contained less than 1/4 to 1/2each of 2 1/2in flooring. several boxes contained one to two ft lengths of flooring,and various longer pieces were missing. Several other pieces contained hand writting on them and had been returned to home depot at some point before my special order purchase. Home Depot had repackaged the boxes, and sent them out on special order without checking the inside contents, hence, shorting me out of approximately at least 76sg ft of flooring on this purchase. I call this to the Mattoon Illinois Store Managers attention on July 3, 2015, and he would only reimburse me for one carton which contained 20sg ft. I advised him he needed to contact manufacture, and or Home Depot re-distrubution cente rand make up the shortage on this special order which was in excess of $2,069.36 to me. It's now July 7, 2015, and I'm still awaiting a reply from him, and or home Depot on this special order purchase. Beware of flooring made by Q.E.P Co, Inc and distributed by Home Depot.

this store is always clean & products are well organized & labeled making my shopping easier.....I never have trouble finding a smiling associate who has an answer to my question & is ready & willing to come to my assistance......cashiers are pleasant & on task......I highly recomment the Mattoon, Illinois Home Depot.

Dennis W. at the Mattoon, IL, store was great to work with. He took his time and didn't pressure us and encouraged our questions.

While shopping for our new appliances Dennis Willenborg was our associate and was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products. Never at anytime did we feel pressured to buy. Overall our experience was excellent. Thank you Dennis for all your help. Will definitely shop at this Home Depot again.

I was impressed at the efficiency of my visit to the Mattoon Home Depot. Salesperson Jackie was very helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient.

My husband and I had our basement flood last week and so we were in the store checking on prices of items to replace in our basement and ended up walking out of the store with a washer and dryer purchase. We are also coming back to order flooring. Dennis Willenborg is a great asset to this store! Very friendly and helpful. He didnt try to give us a phony sales pitch to buy a more expensive washer/dryer. We knew what we wanted and he directed us to it! THANK YOU! I also want to give a shout out to the young lady that helped us in the flooring department. I dont remember her name, but she was awesome! The store was clean and they provide the electric cart for my husband. The help was great in finding everything we needed.

The store was clean ,well lite, and the ascoates were very friendly and helpful.

I was totally impressed with the helpfulness of the associate to whom I went for help. They, in turn were happy that the Behr Company was standing behind their product. We had used the Garage Floor materials and it didn't work out, but Behr is furnishing help and cost of all materials to "fix the problem"! We have always found the staff at the Mattoon, IL Home Depot very friendly and most helpful.

PRODUCTS WERE DISPLAYED SO YOU COULD FIND WHAT I NEEDED AND HELP WAS AVAILABLE TO HELP WITH THOSE I COULD NOT FIND

The store was clean and the associates were knowledgeable and helpful. The cutting machine was WAY in the back of the store and a long walk from where the products I needed cut were located.

A cashier, Emily, was extremely helpful in helping me find the items I needed. She even took me to the direct area and then proceeded to check me out. I appreciated her help at the store!

Isles blocked by ladders, isles not wide enough for 2 carts to pass one another. Associates standing around on their cell phones, shelves were not faced and messy just total disarray.

Items in stock and everywhere I went the staff would say can i help up or a simple hello

Our Associate Dennis W. went out of his way give us outstanding customer care. He was very helpful and wasn't pushy about anything; which we really appreciated. He gave us some great advice, was very friendly and sincere.

I made the decision to tighten up my porch to my trailer. It needed more bracing. So basically I needed all the tools to do the project and the associates there were extremely helpful.

Always a wonderful experience. The employees are ready to help and constantly making sure we are not having problems finding what we need.

I truly enjoy shopping at my Home Depot. The sales associates really strive to be helpful, don't just tell you where an item is located - they take you TO the item - and they're always happy to help you load items into your vehicle. I especially like shopping for garden plants and soil products because they really do know how to answer questions, and provide solutions to questions/problems asked of them.

I like Home Depot for the hands on time the associates take in making your experience a rewarding visit. I travel quite a bit and find that the team at the Mattoon have been very helpful and knowledge able. On one occasion I was surprised to find the level of service far and above what I have experienced in any hardware store as the associate helped me actually re-key a lock for my house. Wonderful! I tend to always meet a new associate at the store and find that they all have pride in helping others. Pretty nice group of individuals you have at this location.

AS ALWAYS MY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT MATTOON HOME DEPOT IS GOOD. THE SALES ACCOCIATES ARE HELPFUL AND TAKE THE TIME TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS.

I enjoy shopping at the Mattoon store as the associates are friendly and care about the customers. The store is well-stocked and well-organized. The associates are well versed in the merchandise available and go the extra mile to help you find whatever you are seeking. I have been to other Home Depot stores in other cities but the Mattoon store is the BEST!

HAD THE PRODUCT I WAS INTERESTED IN THE STORE, SO I COULD SEE IT AND COMPARE WITH DIFFERENT BRANDS. LIKE TO TOUCH IT , BETTER THAN PICTURES ON THE WEB. DENNIS WILLENBORG THE SALES SPECIALIST KNEW WHAT HE WAS SELLING AND COULD EXPLAIN THE PRODUCT. HATE IT WHEN I GO INTO A STORE AND SPEND A COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND THE SALES PERSON , DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
