The staff was friendly and checkout was easy and quick. I found what I was looking for and there was enough of the quantity that I needed.

The garden center was very well maintained. Plants all watered and very pretty. No trash weeds or dying plants

Typical Home Depot, store associates are few and far between. The quality of their product knowledge is limited , used to be much better. If you know what you want and where it is, this store is just fine.

I stopped by this morning with 3, 5 gallon empties for Crystal Water that I have purchased at this store for the past 12 years, for my water. This time I only wanted one bottle since we are going away for vacation. I was advised by the cashier, return cashier, 2 customer service associates, and finally the Manager that HD doesn't take empties without a full bottle purchase. I asked how to get my "Deposit" for the bottle? All mentioned above said that HD or the Supplier implemented this policy and posted this information, but when asked when was it displayed, no one could tell me as they couldn't advise me who made the change. I then asked if I change suppliers, what happens to my "Deposit?" All shrugged their shoulders, telling me that they did not know. If this is your change of policy, there are plenty of retailers that would like my money...

Memorial Day weekend shopping, I was approved for 8,000 credit line this weekend on a 24 month free financing and happily purchased a patio furniture set with an umbrella. In all areas of the purchase I received far more excellent service with people who knew what they were talking about in every step of the way. I feel this store has taken the necessary steps to regularly get me to keep shopping at this store. Usually, when I ask questions about important things needed I never leave the store satisfied with my questions answered. The Home Depot at the Middletown DE location had improved and I will continue to shop and recommend people to shop at this location.

All of the associates treat me like they own the business. I go in just about everyday and have gotten to know many of the people that work there. I see them outside of the store, in the community and they are genuine in their help and attitudes. I feel like I am in a small town store when I go in this big box and it is because of the people working there.

My wife and I recently purchased a home in a 55 and over community. We were not expecting much fix up as it was new construction. However, we realized that we wanted to do some customization of what is essentially a track house. I like to review available options (for lighting, closets, towel bars, etc) online, discuss them with my spouse, order online for delivery to the store, pick up, and then install. If there is a problem, I have found returns fairly easy. The staff at this store are helpful with suggestions, and the location could not be more convenient.

We were looking for flowers to put in pots on our porch, and that was the good experience. The bad cam when we looked at cushions for our wicker porch set. The cushions were pretty pricey, and we didn't see any for slider.

The staff at this store goes above and beyond to help with all your needs, especially the female tool manager that seems to work a lot of nights. I think her name is Diane maybe. She is absolutely great! Store is clean and neat. I will never shop anywhere else!

I love this store. On this particular visit, I got just about everything I needed at sale prices. I did not need help from an associate but was asked by one if I needed help.

I visit this store regularly and have had pleasant helpful experiences each time in paint dept., hardware, and lawn and garden and at checkout. I always leave with a smile.

I had the pleasure of working with two amazing sales associates today. I wanted to build an herb garden just like the one I had seen demonstrated last year at Home Depot for my mother for Mother's Day. The customer service desk directed me to Diane who had helped me last year. She worked with me from start to finish. She knew exactly what I wanted and she didn't hesitate to spend time with me . We enlisted the help of another wonderful associate , Bart, who helped construct the base of the herb garden. His construction expertise was invaluable and he also did not hesitate to help me. I was just so pleased with the time and effort that both of these sales associates exhibited especially for what would seem to be a small project. I will definitely keep shopping at Home Depot where I know I can get the help I need!!

I found the store very clean and not overly cluttered which I hate. Sometimes when too many people ask if they can help you it becomes annoying but I did not feel they were over the top. Every associate that walked by me gave eye contact and said hello and made themselves available to assist. We happen to be looking for patio cushions that, of course, were on the highest shelf in the store and a female associate did not hesitate to roll the big ladder over and get them down for us. Cashier was also very pleasant. Overall, we have a good experience every time we come to this Home Depot.

Helpful associates and clean store. Competitive pricing.

Yesterday was a beautiful Saturday and everyone was out! So the store was slammed with people!!! Lumber department had people everywhere as well. The associate in lumber was super friendly and very helpful. The checkout was fast and efficient. The cashier try get me to get a Home Depot card I said I don't need another card. Than she asked me complete the survey. I said I never win anything! So I'm not going to waste my time!! I guess that's way I'm here doing this!!! Happy Day!!

Stood waiting a while to get assistance. Once assistance was rendered things went smoothly after that. The young man at the counter was distracted and rude. He was observed very nice to the people in front of me but for some reason he was very arrogant and rude to me. The only reason I think he was rude to me was based on a conflict of cultures. I was white and he was black. The people he was very friendly to was black as well.

The Garden center was well organized and stocked, but the best part of my experience was Mike, he was so helpful when he saw me looking around he offered assistance in finding what I was searching for, later he happened to notice I was preparing to load soil on my cart and although he was quite far from me called over that he would be right there to help me. His awareness of what was happening and who needed help was impressive. During checkout with the very sweet, helpful and friendly Regina, Mike, without being called came to the front of the garden center to offer his assistance to load me car. This was a true example of customer service!

From the moment we stepped onto the sidewalk and entered the store, the friendly associate's degree of positive energy just made us SO glad that we stopped in! Your cashier Camera all but escorted me to the display I was shopping for and she couldn't have been any sweeter the entire time in her company!!!

We came to get a grill that we had seen on the Home Depot website. The associates were very helpful throughout our purchase. My only complaint is that the grills didn't have prices on them which caused confusion because the grill they originally brought from the back was not the one we had chosen on the website. The two grills looked very similar and had the prices been posted on the grills, the mixup could have been avoided.
