How long can I rent tools?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the month, week, or day, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call your local rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw blades come with power saw rentals?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we recommend that you buy your own. You probably won't get a sharp saw blade that comes with your rental. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's smart to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
How do I get my large equipment rental?
Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment delivered straight to your job site for an affordable rate — out in the field or at your own home. We'll need at least 24 hours notice so we can adequately prepare your rented equipment and you'll need to rent it for a full day. In places where delivery isn't available, speak to an associate for the ideal way to get your large equipment.
How do I avoid penalties and extra fees on my large equipment rentals?
Think of your large equipment rentals as any other vehicle: Make sure you obey traffic laws and it's parked legally. Read the operator's manual so you're using it correctly to avoid injuring yourself or damaging the equipment. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are.
