Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

It's also a great time for setting up new appliances, starting lawn and garden work outdoors, and cleaning indoors. Don't forget to upgrade your outdoor power equipment as well. Do you offer specialty moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with thunderstorms, snowstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
Should I make siding repairs now?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing or repairing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could have problems. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing panels or roof shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check brickwork and cinder blocks for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're damaged.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
