The Home Depot Rental Center at North Denton

Take on any DIY project with the tools you need — even if you don't currently own them. Rent tools, use them, and take them back when you're done. Complete your project without taking up valuable workshop or shed storage with tools you only reach for every so often.

Tool Rental
Using The Home Depot North Denton Tool Rental Center helps you handle more complex DIY projects. You won't be limited by only what you have on hand or have to settle for untrustworthy hand-me-down tools. Rent the tools to finish your project safely. If your local store doesn't have the tool you need in stock, you could find it at another store within driving distance.

Tame the Bushes and Lawn Early
Lighten the load with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the lawn and shrubs with hedge trimmers and rental lawn mowers, and get that sidewalk clean again with a pressure washer rental. Your outdoor oasis will be ready for new spring flowers in no time.

Add Insulation When the Weather is Cooler
To make your home more energy efficient, upgrade your insulation in the spring, if possible — before it gets dangerously hot in your attic. Rent equipment made for insulation to install it correctly. Decide between a fiberglass blower or a cellulose insulation blower, and insulate those nooks and crannies well. Installing insulation keeps your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, all while tempering your heating and cooling bills.

Cargo Van and Truck Rentals
For transporting large tool rentals or anything else, we keep trucks of all kinds ready to roll. Although availability varies by store, we've got a selection ranging from pickup trucks to flatbed trucks to cargo vans. Choose the right size for your project so you can keep your job on track. As your source for DIY projects, storage needs, and packing, it's smart to make us your source for truck rental as well.

Box Truck and Penske Moving Truck Rentals
If it's time to relocate to a new home, let us help with that, too. Explore our rental box trucks. We also offer Penske moving trucks ranging from 12-foot to 26-foot lengths, but as always, availability varies by store. Our Penske moving trucks have different sizes and rental requirements than our box trucks, so check out the FAQ or speak to an Orange Apron to ensure you choose the right rental truck for you.

Large Equipment Rentals
Complete expansive projects with pro equipment. Our large equipment rentals give you the power you need. From the scissor lifts to give you a boost to the mini skid steers for hauling materials, we've got a surprising variety of equipment available. If a large equipment rental could help you, explore and see what we've got in stock.

Although we're calling out specific truck, large equipment, and tool rentals, not everything is available at every rental center. If you've got a particular truck in mind, please contact your local rental center to see where you can pick it up.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I rent large equipment, tools, or trucks?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what's available. If you'd like confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a tool, truck, or large equipment. You might also check out our truck rental or tool and equipment rental pages to see if what you need is carried at your store. For more information on renting large equipment or tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, which includes terms and conditions for the equipment.

Can I rent large equipment or a tool by the hour?

Large equipment rentals and tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY jobs may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent large equipment and tools by the day, month, or week, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.

When can I bring the tools back?

You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off mud and grime from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Can I rent a truck for a week?

Rent a cargo van, box truck, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the terms and conditions before you decide on a vehicle.

Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Make a note of the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and fill it with enough gas to match that level. When you don't refill the vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Do I just need a driver's license to rent large equipment or a truck?

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements. Select tools as well as large equipment also require ID verification via CLEAR.

Do I need to go get my rented large equipment?

Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment dropped off and picked up from your job site for a reasonable cost — whether that's at your home or out in the field. We'll need at least 24 hours notice so we can prepare your rental delivery for you and you'll need to rent it for a full day. In places where delivery isn't available, speak to an associate for the ideal way to get your large equipment.

What are some ways to avoid extra fees and penalties on my large equipment rentals?

Think of your rented large equipment as any other vehicle: Make sure you obey traffic laws and it's parked legally. Read the operator's manual so you're using it correctly to avoid damaging the equipment or injuring yourself. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are. If you cancel within 12 hours of your scheduled delivery, you'll pay a cancellation fee. Extend your rental period if you need extra time so you won't get charged a late fee.
