Woot! Fun and helpful employees who know their stuff!

Wish the turnover wasn’t so big. The newbies never seem to have enough training. Also it would be nice to have 1 or 2 checkers for those that can’t seem to figure out the self checkers. That would make them seem more personal. And friendly also.

We have always found the employees to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Store usually has exactly what we are looking for. Great selection of products. Always neat, clean and tidy. And we have never had a problem with returns.

Awesome return policy. Marisol was the best.

Very nice, well stocked Home Depot that provides more of an old school customer service experience. I will only shop at this particular Home Depot for all of my home improvement needs. My experience tonight with a worker named Evan left me feeling very good about my experience. He went above and beyond providing with advice, suggestions and assistance all the while not making me feel as ignorant as I actually am when it comes to home improvement. Thank you Evan!

Took the time to drive to this store since the inventory of what I needed at the Tumwater Store was lacking. I had the opportunity to run into an awesome employee, Silva Ringlbauer who showed me the different options I had in re-doing my walk-in closet in my master bedroom. She spent a lot of time with me and didn't make me feel rushed. I have to say not only was Silva helpful but so were the other Home Depot employees I came across. The store was very clean and I appreciated that.

Best customer service of any home improvement store in Lacey or Olympia. Consistently greeted upon entry and employees in the store asking if we need help. One more than one occasion the cashiers have gone the extra mile to find answers to our questions and even make sure we got an item price matched from the other big home improvement store. Management is doing something right at this store because of the quality of customer service we consistently get. It’s further from home than two other big box stores but absolutely worth the extra few minutes driving.

Renee in the paint department is fantastic! She found exactly what I needed, was professional, and did not laugh at my questions. I have been back 3 times now and each time I get the same excellent customer service.

Paint counter workers very friendly on 8/31 even helped me carry my paint to the checkout. Cashiers friendly both visits and a worker working in the lighting section was very helpful and took the time to help us find a product on 9/1. However the paint counter worker on 9/1 was extremely rude and disrespectful. I had no issue the previous visit with getting paint mixed in a Benjamin Moore color but this visit a worker made it so hard and told me the color wouldn’t come out right or even look the remotely close to the same color. I know you legally have to say colors may not come out the same but she said it in a way that was very hateful and kept saying negative comments trying to get us to change our minds. I said we’d like to try it anyways and had done it before and liked the outcome. This annoyed her even more and she said it’s going to be a long wait we said that’s fine. She then rudely told us that if we had any other shopping to do now would be the time to do it and stomped away. The thing was the customers before us she was very friendly with so it was shocking to me why she was being so rude to us. So we wandered the store waiting and kept hearing other names be called to the paint desk to pick up their orders but she didn’t take ours so we made our way back. We saw our paint can sitting on the counter but I waited to ask if it was ours just to be sure and she yelled yeah it is and then ROLLED her eyes at me! I will never go back to this store. It’s sad because everyone else was so kind and helpful but this one person I’d rather never have to deal with again ruined it for us.

I am not a handyperson, so when I go out to home improvement stores, I usually have a LOT of questions. I find that at this location especially, everyone seems very willing to help, and usually have the expertise and patience to deal with me!

Frustrated by continual poor customer service at this store.

I visited Home Depot three times in the past week. I dealt with four employees, all of whom were extremely patient and helpful. I prefer shopping at Home Depot because they have a more complete line of products. On one of my visit, they didn't have what I wanted, but directed me to a service desk where I could seek help in locating someone who would provide the product. I will follow up on this when I have a chance.

The majority of the team members are very rude and sarcastic and I don't appreciate it at all. The women I my self have seen at the self checkout in the morning time are always very nice but that's about it

This is my favorite local Home depot store. The employees seem to know what they're doing unlike the tumwater store.

Good service

There are four employees that are highly effective in their work with customers because they listen, they are polite , and they have a strong knowledge base about their area of expertise. Having been a local school superintendent with over 1,000 employees I have the expertise to know effective customer service. These four commendable employees that work at the 1325 Fones Road, Olympia, WA are: Pam, Jim, Mark and Billy. I believe that these four employees are as effective in they delivery of service and could work with the public in about any setting. It's a pleasure to shop at this store!

The staff at this store are wonderful! I have order doors, blinds and completed a ton of remodel work to my new home. I have received excellent customer service from various employees including Sandy in the Blinds Department and Mike at the Pro Desk! Not only is this store close to my home but I also am able to trust the workers at this location to direct me with my home repairs.

This store has the best employee associates. I am in the store often and there are a couple of people who help me out who do a wonderful job.

The Home Depot store on Fones Road is my preferred store of the 3 stores in the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area. It is the easiest to get in and out of and to find parking. Once in the store, it is arranged very well, the staff is always very helpful and they always have the items that I am looking for. I have also ordered online and used this store for pickup and delivery and the service is also excellent.

This was the only home improvement store out of 3 that had the item I was seeking.

Very helpful patient staff and clerks. A friendly place to go. Talk to staff if you are not quite sure what is needed for your project.

The store has employee that is very knowledgeable in plumbing.
