It's fine to return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Rent a cargo van, box truck, or pickup truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Remember to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store where you rented it. Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Note the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
