I could say that throughout IL this store has the most stocks and awesome employees I have ever been. They are all kind human being. Everyones smiling at you and always their to help you when you asked for help. Not like other stores when you ask they'll tell you to ask furthermore.

I find it awkward purchasing lumber supplies from the Palatine store. I would prefer to be able to select my lumber and immediately load into my car/truck. This would require having the lumber supplies in a separate area versus being within the main store. Otherwise, I prefer purchasing all other items from the Palatine store, as it is set up now.

Was very happy with Lou Wilson in customer service at your Palatine store. He was helpful, pleasant & was able to complete my order when I had difficulty. All the employees at this store were friendly & seemed to care about the customers.

Flooring Dept is set up beautifully for us short folks with samples at floor level instead of 10 feet up on the wall. Staff was readily available, knowledgeable and willing to take the time.

I found in their garden center wonderful plants and at reasonable prices.

I needed wood cut for a crate project and I met Ben at the cutting station. He was extremely nice and had wonderful customer service skills. He triple checked his work and thoroughly communicated with me about what I wanted. Another employee, George, was also present working on another project and he was great company too! He made small talk and he showed me a precious photo of his daughter who is in K (I teach 2nd). He is a very proud dad! Both gentlemen were great- thank you, Ben and George!!!

If you are looking for incredible customer service ask for Sid. We went to purchase a new refrigerator and he was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions

I shop here for all major and small purchases. Why? Because of the knowledgeable people who work at the store- AND because (HAHA) Kenneth Langone (co-founder of home depot) (who is a distant relative-my kid's dad's great Uncle) AND because many people in my family work there, and LASTLY-I received a discount at Home Depot when I closed on my new townhome last July 2021. My home inspector had a coupon! Thank HOME DEPOT for being the very best of the best home improvement stores EVER!!!!

Right when I walked in the gentleman behind the paint counter said hello cheerfully and happily! The next associate attended to me and made me feel like I was the only customer in the store! Truly amazing!
