The employees are helpful and make a serious effort to help find solutions to home repair problems

I recently painted my very large deck with Behr Deckover and Solid Stain. This was a lengthy and expensive job. Beth, a sales associate in the paint department in your Penfield NY store, was wonderful. Her product knowledge was invaluable and her helpful tips and suggestion made a big difference. I have been working in retail for 50 years and I am a store manager so I know excellent customer service when I see it and Beth is the very best. I would hire her myself as she is that good. I have been in the store many times and I have observed her with other customers and she is consistently excellent.

The employees are frendly and try to help solve a problem and/or find the materials or parts needed to make home repairs.

A cashier checked on the availability of some shelving units. Another associate spent quite a bit of time tracking down the extra stock . She was determined to locate it for us (she even engaged another associate to help her). She remained calm and friendly. We appreciated their hard work.

I was looking for Teflon tape. Thought I couldn't find visually, I was in correct aisle. Lucky, store associate is tall enough to see and got it for me. There were two left and not in box, just on top shelf, not quite visual in short person's visibility range. Nonetheless, I still shop there.

The store associates were very helpful and knowledgeable. This store is organized well, and everything was easy to find. I always enjoy my shopping experience at Home Depot. As a female shopper I feel that I'm treated well and valued as an educated consumer whether it's purchasing something as simple as bug spray or lumber and tools. Thank you Home Depot!

I wanted to pay my bill without the bill in my hand. Nancy at the check out said no problem if you happen to have your Home Depot card. She punched in the numbers, it showed my balance and I paid it all. She was so great to be able to just do it right there. The great part was this was in the self service line so she went above and beyond to assist the customer. Kudos Nancy.

I always enjoy going to the Penfield store, and today I popped in to replace a couple of bird feeders and get some bird seed. The 2 gentleman working those aisles was very friendly and good humored, even though I didn't need their help I still enjoyed a short chat with them. Then at the checkout, there was a girl at the register helping an elderly gentleman with the card reader, and she was so friendly but occupied, so I went to the self service registers, and I'd never paid with cash before on those so was a little confused, but the young man attending those registers was also so nice and friendly and helpful, he even scanned in the heavy bag of bird seed for me so I wouldn't have to try to lift it and scan it, and showed me how to pay with cash... today everyone was in such a great mood! I thought it must be their bonus day or sumthin'! ;)

Couldn't find an associate in the area I was looking (electrical lighting). Spent 15 minutes searching for the item I needed (ceiling fan replacement switch). Wasn't thinking so got the fan switch by mistake instead of the light switch I needed. Tried to return It the next day to get the right one and the woman at the return register shut off the light and ran off when I was less than 5 feet from the register. Never even bothered to acknowledge that someone going to the only return register carrying a bag would actually be going there to return something. Had to wait 5 minutes for the customer service desk to have someone available to do my return. If I have to spend 30 minutes looking for an item and more trying to return something, I will go the extra distance to Lowes where I have always been able to find an associate and never had one shut their register down and flat out leave.

I went to the lowes in macedon looking for garage storage cabinets and they where out of the product that I was looking for. the staff offered no help on how the get the product that I was looking for. I went to the home depot and the staff was more than willing to help. The cabinet was in stock and at a better price. I will continue to shop at the penfield location because of the staff

Had an issue with scheduling an appt. for carpet measurement. Mary went above and beyond to solve the problem. Home Depot is very fortunate to have Mary in its employ. Thank you!!!!!

I had just entered the store when I was greeted by your associate who worked in the Plumbing Department. He asked if he could help me. I said yes and told him what I was looking for. He told me that the item was in the Paint Section and would take me there. I said thank you but you don’t have to waste your time. I should be able to find it by myself now that I know the area. He said he’d still walk me to it just to be sure of the exact location for his own personal information. We found several selections of the product I was interested in and talked about them. He had great results in using one and I decided to buy that particular selection over the others. I then proceeded to the checkout area where your cashier was helping a customer who had a slight problem checking out. When he saw me approaching the counter, he excused himself from her and said to me, “I will be right with you sir”. Shortly thereafter, he was finished with her and started processing my purchase. He was very friendly, as we had a few laughs over some things while checking out. Both your associate and cashier were very courteous, respectful and personable in the short time we interacted. Such has been my experience when shopping at Home Depot which I do a lot. Thank You.

I regularly visit the Penfield/Henrietta locations --. whether it's to pick up one small item or browse the aisles for ideas during my home renovations (and ultimately purchase supplies). I always find the staff extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. There's always a variety of products available and I love the "one stop shopping" experience.

An associate patiently waited for my daughter to send me a photo of the project I needed assistance with. He advised me about how to solve my issue and was very friendly.

I had lost the information on a custom paint color and needed another gallon. Kevin took the time to search for the last time that mix was used and was able to determine the base used in the mix. He went above and beyond for me.

THE BEST FEATURE OF THE STORE IS THE STAFF. THEY DONT TELL YOU WHERE TO FIND SOMETHING BUT MORE OFTEN THAN NOT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE SPECIFIC LOCATION.. THAT COUPLED WITH THEIR EXPERTISE ON A GIVEN SUBJECT, IF THEY DONT HAVE IT, THEY WILL FIND THE PERSON THAT DOES.

I have been totally satisfied with every visit to the Penfield NY Home Depot. The store is clean, well stocked and laid out. The associates are well informed and very courteous.

This IS my Home Depot. I live very close to a competitor and always travel to this Home Depot. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and it is a rare occasion when I cannot find the item I'm looking for.

I have to travel past a competitors store to shop at this Home Depot. I do so because of the staff and proximity to other businesses with whom I frequent. Store #1247 is GREAT !!

I stopped into The Home Depot on a Friday night, thirty minutes before the store was to close. The two associates that assisted me were very kind and led me directly to the items that I needed. To me, there were just as helpful and friendly as if I stopped in during the day, well before closing time.

The helpfulness of each employee made my experience quick and easy.

I just bought my first home and wanted to re-paint almost every room in the house! I bought 7 different paint colors and the associate went through each color with me to see what room they were for and what type of paint and how much would be best to use! The staff at the Penfield store are very experinced. I do small jobs of various trades. I lways go there with photos and measurments and they always help me buy the right materials for my complex plumbing installations and finish work. These special peolpe help me make my livelyhood possible.

The garden area is well stocked and well maintained. Makes yard work easier when store visits are quick.

I was able to order on-line items and get store material bundled into one convenient order. It saved me a lot of time!
