Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment and our local communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

Do you offer large moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving or storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, thunderstorms, blizzards or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements knock it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Should I make siding repairs now?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could have problems. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak into your home. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks. Indoors, verify ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, change out chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're in poor condition.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
