Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store reduced energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment, as well as our local communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

Do you offer large moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving or storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When considering different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by replacing any faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be headed for trouble. On the outside of your home, examine metal roof panels or roof shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check brickwork and cinder block for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, swap vinyl siding and chimney caps if they're damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
