Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.
Welcome to the Providence Home Depot. It's a great day to get started on a new home improvement project.
Whether you're looking for window air conditioning units or tool boxes, your local hardware store has you covered. Get in and out, then back to the task at hand. Find the right product using our Home Depot product locator app. It displays a store map so you can ensure the product is in stock and know exactly where to find it. You can even use the barcode lookup to find detailed information on every item we carry.
At The Home Depot, we value community involvement. We support Operation Stand Down Rhode Island to help our veterans.
You can find us north of the Route 146 and I-95 intersection, between the Walmart and the post office. Visit us today and see what's new. You can also view our local ad before you visit to find great in-store deals.
Sincerely,
The Providence Hardware Store Team

Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements knock it out. When considering different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Should I do siding repairs now?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be headed for trouble. Check brickwork and cinder block for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roof panels for damage or rust that could let water leak in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window or peephole when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
