Rent a cargo van, box truck, or pickup truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Be sure to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you'll need to return it to the same store where you rented it. Yes, please fill up the truck before you bring it back. Note the fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
