This is the FIRST and ONLY hardware store that doesn't treat me, a woman, as totally incompetent! Everyone is friendly, professional and helpful!

Asked the cashier to call for help in the lumber department. I was helped in a timely manner. I was lead to item and helped with cutting it to right sizes. Employee was very courteous and helpful.

I always have a great experience when I shop at this store. Continue to provide excellent customer service.

I shop at the Rancho mirage and la Quinta stores and have gotten lots of information that has helped me complete projects in a very efficient time

If I don't know exactly where to go in the store to find anything, any staff member or associate is always willing to help.

Stan in Garden is very knowledgeable and helpful. He wnet beyond the call of duty to provide professional advice. He was patient is hearing my planting concerns and offering his professional advice.

Comparing this store to the one in Palm Springs, this store seemed much more friendly. When i stepped inside i saw 5 employees on the floor, ready to help if i asked for it. I just needed one item, so i didn't need help. But it felt good to see more employees at this store.

STAFF WERE HELPFULL. BEEN THERE MULTIPLE TIME, THEY ALWAYS THERE TO ANSWER QUESTION

No employees around to help. When you do find one they act like you are doing them a favor or its not my department . I have been coming to this store for over 9 years and its always the same not once have I had an employee ask me if I need assistance.

If I didn't like to browse, I could have been in and out in five minutes. Walking into the store an associate greeted me and asked if she could help me find something, went right to the product! It took all of two minutes when I went to check out!

products were missing, shelves messy. When I did get an associate through hunting the aisles he was very helpful, but it took 10 full minutes

Buying a new plant, especially a large and expensive one, for the landscape is often a challenge. The associates (three ended up giving me helpful information at one point) knew the answers to every question I had regarding an exotic cactus I was considering, so much so that I bought two rather than just the one I intended to purchase today.

Joe was extremely helpful in regard to questions about paint, color matching, etc. I highly recommend him for information concerning painting issues.

shopping at HD I call it my "candy store." Some times I just wander around the store imagineing new projects that i can do.

Home Depot is always a good experience and the staff are always very helpful.

I had purchased this one item at Palm Springs (spending over an hour from arrival to checkout just waiting for assistance). Seeing it was the wrong item, intending to return it, I put it in my car. 3 days later I happened to be next door to the Rancho Mirage CA Home Depot. and rather than wait, I returned it there. The staff were immediately helpful, friendly, no question as to why, altho I did say "it was the wrong model." Received immediate credit, no problem. On the other hand, on the few occasions I have had to return an item to Palm Springs over the last 14 years, the staff there (some, not all) can be argumentative or make unnecessary comments. I will always continue to shop at Home Depot but Palm Springs store needs to ramp up its staff and better train them.
