Great store! Very helpful Paint Department.

Walked in, walked directly to the nuts and bolts section,...finally found something I could use..(did not have box quanity for size I wanted)...proceeded to check out where I found only 1 line with a human checkout person, and NOT ONCE was I SPOKEN TO by an employee. CHECKING OUT MYSELF IS NOT MY JOB! And please dont tell me you're saving me money by using self checkout!! The $5 for 5 screws tell me different.

the store didn't have anyone available at the registers to know how to check out customers. They expected you to do - as self checkout! You wait inline for customer to try to figure it out. Then no one able to assist! Crazy!!! What happeded to customer service?

The Overland Park Home Depot is almost always well stocked. It is near our home so I don't have to drive very far to get exactly what I want. Usually, it is easy to find someone to help you. The cashiers are friendly and pleasant.

Have used the In-home service for windows and am very pleased with the customer service throughout the process. They came to my home to discuss options, a qualified technician came to measure and the installers were wonderful.The only thing I do not care for in this store is self-service and the reason for that is we need to keep people employed. Machines cannot provide the customer service that is needed as they cannot talk, explain policies, etc.

Roy (in the tool corral) is especially helpful and interested in helping customers find what they need without buying a ton of extra stuff.

For the second time in 3 months I was pleasantly surprised by outstanding customer service from staff in the aisles. The first time I was repairing a lamp, and the person not only helped me find the right parts, but helped me get the tricky old parts off. Today I was looking for a seam roller, like those used for hanging wallpaper. Since nobody does that anymore, the store didn’t have any on hand. Two guys in the flooring department (Dave and Pat) offered to help me make one out of a paint roller and some PVC. Five minutes later I self-checked myself out (their machines always work) and I left with the roller and freshly-cut PVC. My McGiver tool works great! Back on track for my project...

They had what I needed, but the clerk which checked out my item was very unpleasant to me. When you spend cash on stuff why make your customer feel like a criminal.

Place is neat. Employees friendly. Items are generally in stock. Pleasant shopping experience.

The store employees are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and it is easy to find products.

They have a very efficient and knowledgeable staff. The garden center is well organized and has a good supply of landscaping plants and materials. It is the best place I've found to purchase 1/4" drip irrigation supplies in this end of the city.

On June 10, 2019 I went to the Home Depot store on 8000 west 135th street, Overland Park, Kansas to buy a water heater because mine went out. I was unable to get help from any employee working this day. The isle over from the water heaters two employees were moving pipes and I asked if I could get some assistance getting a water heater off the shelf. I was told that when he was done that he would help me. I waited a long time in the water heater isle for anyone to show up and no one did. I had to move the one hundred twenty-pound item myself from the shelf to the cart. After receiving no assistance on the floor, I went to check out. I asked the cashier for help loading the water heater into my truck. I waited by the front door for anyone to show up and not a single employee came to help. I then loaded it into my truck unassisted. I served twenty years in the Army and have had three surgeries to my lower back including a spinal cord stimulator to help with chronic pain. I have never felt so disrespected before and do not plan on visiting Home Depot again. I am disappointed that management would allow the employees to ignore multiple requests for help with moving such a heavy item.

Great store! Always find what I need and able to get the information needed to finish a project. Mark C. is my "go-to" person.

Employees don't have consistent stories about how products are stocked and sold. They also don't have problems lying to customers. Cashiers are super friendly and helpful as much as they can be with all the lying going on around them.

I live approximately centered between 3 Home Depot stores. I have been to all of them but there is no question that 2209 is the best. The store is always clean, organized, and well stocked, but the real reason I keep coming back here are the people who work here. They are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the location of specific items. 2209 is clearly a cut above the rest!

Always good customer service

Great store for professional help and suggestions. All employees are consistently kind and helpful. I have confidence in their help and suggestions. One time an outside contractor which was doing stocking of their product helped me in purchasing some landscaping products.

Did an exchange of products and the pro team had me in and out quickly! John and Sarah killed it.
