When it's time to dive into a big home improvement job, you might not have everything you need in a shed or garage. That's when you should stop by The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in S Tulsa.
Tool Rental
Our tool rental options expand your toolbelt and toolbox with the precise tools you need to complete the job. It's not necessary to buy a specific tool when you're not using it often. When you're thinking about getting a new tool, do a trial run before you decide which one to purchase. Whatever your situation, we have the power tools you're looking for.
Make Painting Easier with Ladder and Paint Sprayer Rentals
Beautiful springtime days are a great time to tackle outdoor painting projects. Make surfaces look new again with a fresh coat of paint. Whether you need a paint sprayer rental for professional coverage, ladder rentals for painting fences, or scaffolding rentals for painting a shed, we have what you need.
Rent Floor Sanders, Shop Vacs, Post Hole Diggers, and More
Tackle major projects with robust power tool rentals. Use a rental tiller to get your garden bed ready for planting or ensure fresh sod lays just right with a sod cutter rental. Construct a new fence around your property more efficiently with a post hole digger rental, then utilize other concrete tools that suit your job.
Cargo Van and Truck Rentals
To make it easier to transport large tool rentals, we keep trucks of all kinds ready to rent. Although availability varies by store, we've got a selection ranging from cargo vans to flatbeds to pickups. You're sure to find the correct size for your DIY project so you can keep your job on track. As your source for DIY projects, packing, and storage needs, it's simple to make us your source for truck rental as well.
Box Truck and Penske Moving Truck Rentals
If it's time to relocate to a new home, let us help with that as well. Explore our rental box trucks. We also offer Penske moving trucks in sizes ranging from 12-feet to 26-feet, but as always, availability varies by store. Box trucks have different rental requirements and sizes than Penske moving trucks, so check our FAQ or speak to an associate to ensure you choose the right rental truck for you.
Large Equipment Rentals
Handle expansive projects with professional equipment. Our large equipment rentals give you the power you need. From the scissor and boom lifts to give you a boost to the mini skid steers and excavators for hauling materials, we've got a surprising variety of equipment available. If a large equipment rental could help you, explore and see what we've got in stock.
Although we're calling out specific large equipment, tool, and truck rentals, our rental center may not have everything on hand for your required time frame. If you've got a particular truck in mind, please contact your local rental center to see where you can pick it up.
How do I rent large equipment, tools, or trucks?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools or trucks you can rent. If you'd like confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a truck, tool, or large equipment. You can also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is carried at your store. For more details on renting large equipment or tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, which includes terms and conditions for the equipment.
How long can I rent tools or large equipment?
You can rent a tool or large equipment for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small home improvement jobs may only require a rental for a few hours, and long-term projects are no problem. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call the Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any mud or dirt from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call your local rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a week?
Rent a cargo van, box truck, or pickup truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Be sure to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you must bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract before choosing a vehicle.
Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?
Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Note the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the rental vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck or large equipment with only a driver's license?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements. Select tools as well as large equipment also require ID verification via CLEAR.
How do I get my large equipment rental?
Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment delivered and removed from your job site for a reasonable cost — whether that's out in the field or at your own home. You'll need to rent it for one day or longer and provide us with 24 hours notice so we can adequately prepare your rented large equipment. Speak to an associate for the ideal way to get your large equipment.
How do I avoid penalties and extra fees on my large equipment rentals?
Treat your rented large equipment as any other vehicle: Make sure you obey traffic laws and it's parked legally. Read the operator's manual so you're using it correctly to avoid injuring yourself or damaging the equipment. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are. If you cancel within 12 hours of your scheduled delivery, you'll pay a cancellation fee. Extend your rental period if you need extra time so you won't get charged a late fee.
