Always have exactly what I am looking for

GIs try to pick up dates here on Saturdays. Male employees hide from customers, leaving female employees to do all the work.

I feel this store is very clean. Shelves are always stocked. I have been here several times and staff is always helpful. I have even had an employee help diagnose a leak on water heater.

With the Professionalism and Expertise of products and locations, Jessica makes collecting materials quick and convenient. Excellent and efficient check out as well. Thank You.

The associates are extremely helpful and have a decent amount of knowledge, enough to at least get you going on the job. They've got very competitive prices compared to others and usually have a wide variety of tools and accessories for any job!

The associate in lumber was amazing. He helped me find the supplies I needed to get for shelves I was building. He used the radial arm saw to cut the lumber. Instead of directing me to the DIY cutting setup he cut the molding pieces for me. I have never received such good service anywhere. Look for Cowboy Tim when you shop at Southgate Home Depot.

Bought appliances here back in November, and we went through so many complications, we ended up not having a fridge through the holidays as our family came to visit. Our food went bad, and we stayed without a fridge for about 3 weeks. We tried asking the Home Depot for help and they simply told us we had to wait for our fridge to be delivered even though our delivery date had changed twice already and neither one being our fault. I had payed extra for my appliances to be installed and the only thing they actually finished installing was my electric stove. Worst experience ever, never expected this kind of service from a Home Depot. Employees need to be more knowledgeable about deliveries, they rely on one person to answer all questions and she’s hard to find.

Store was clean and organized. Employees were freindly but severally untrained. Willing to assist but were difficult to locate.

Home Depot not honoring veteran ID on a drivers license anymore. VERY disappointed since everyplace else honors this veteran ID..

Employees have always been extremely polite and helpful during all of my visits. If they did not have something I was looking for, they helped me find somewhere else that would have it.

I guess I really like orange. It helps to identify store employees who are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Love going there.

If you need any assistance from employees, do not go to this store. Employees do not have customer service skills, knowledge of the products in the store, or any knowledge of what their used for. I encountered over 10 employees who are there to just for a payday. Three employees, who I know were on the clock, were just standing around talking about their personal life, and when I asked for assistance they just walked away and I had one that practically ran away saying it was time for my break. I checked out with 7 carts of merchandise and with no offers of assistance.

I have shopped at many different lumber yards and hardware stores over the years, including other Home Depots. This particular store will be my "GO TO" store from now on. I was greeted immediately by more than one salesperson and they walked me over to the department I needed and introduced me to someone in that department who was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The store was clean and well stocked and had everything that I walked in to purchase.

Great Management. Plenty of "people" on floor, clean. I spoke with at least five HD employees, all took me right where I needed.

Everyone is always so helpful when I come into the store. I love this local Home Depot.

I have to go into the store to resolve a problem with an online order. I went to customer service and spoke with Meg who quickly started working to resolve the problem. She could not have been any more passionate or helpful in resolving my problem and fixing it. This is by far my best experience at Home Depot as I go in a lot for supplies and will be the store that I will always go to.

Huge selection of refrigerators to inspect and compare. Every associate was helpful cheerful and competent. Sale price was better than other stores after comparing online. HD is consistently well-stocked and has informed and experienced staff to help me select products and find solutions for projects. I've even brought in small parts, explained what I'm trying to do and the associates take me to the right section, offers possible options and when necessary makes sure I get help handling and loading larger items. That's good service and YES associates have always been friendly and cheerful too.

They got everything handy, restrooms are clean, employees are friendly and helpful, and I found what I needed in a flash.
