On a very busy Saturday morning the "brilliant "management at Salinas store decided to have only 1 checkout register open at 9am. There were at least 30 people in line and some were yelling loudly for the store to open more registers. Needless to say about 1/2hour later they finally did. With all the Home Depot employees standing around and talking to each other you'd think management would demand better customer relations. Thank God there is a Lowe's close by.

The associate that assisted me was friendly, knowledgeable and knew what she was doing.

There were not enough associates available to assist the customers in the paint dept. We waited for 15-20 minutes for someone on a forklift to get a pallet of lumber, before giving up and leaving without spray paint or lumber.

IT WAS EASY TO FIND WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR !!!! I WASN'T ASK IF I NEEDED HELP BUT I ALREADY KNEW WHERE TO LOOK FOR WHAT I WAS BUYING !!!

Store clean and organized some associates know more than others

Frank Ochoa helped me to load the heavy bulky dehumidifier to my small sedan. Without his help I weren't able to get it that day and I really needed it! Rare to find a clerk to help you and so friendly. Very much apprecaited! Thanks Frank!!!

We depend on this store for our home building projects.

I have had good and bad experiences at this store. A couple of times my online order for pickup wasn't ready, even though I received an email or call from an associate that it was. Most of the time the staff in this particular store is friendly and helpful. The wait time for assistance on certain days and times can vary from promptly to none at all.

The help from the associates have been very helpful, especially for some one like me, that is retired and Military Disable.

I was shopping at the Salinas location for 3 x 6 white tile. The website showed plenty in stock and several associates also confirms they were showing over 20 cases in stock. However, after waiting for over 45 minutes, I was subsequently told they couldn't find it. I was also told that if it was in stock, it would be too hard to get to. I was then told to try the Seaside store, since they were showing almost the same quantity in stock. While it was nice to have help from several associates, it would have been nicer had they fulfill my request.

Finding the lumber was easy and available, I needed various sizes cut from a few 8'x4' 's and the associate helped me figure out the best way with the least amount of waste. The isle's were clear as I was able to shop my other items and get to the checkouts with no problem.

I am in a wheelchair and needed assistance in my purchases. An Associate from the Plumbing department went above and beyond what I expected, he had not only helped me find everything I needed but took the time to put items together. I was at loss of what I needed to make things work and he said don't worry He would help me, which He did. He was Very helpful, personable and definitely knew the store and products. I can't tell you what a relief it was to get that quality of of Assistance.

Store associates are far and few between, when needing assistance. I bought two shower door kits, brought them home and began trying to install them. My fiance and I came to the realization that there was serious hardware missing from both. We called the store back to exchange the kits, and were directed to another store because they didn't have any of the kits in stock. We called several other stores within a 60+ mile radius and the nearest store was well over an hour and a half away in order to get a new one. Very dissatisified with the overall situation considering the amount we've spent within a 3 week period was well over $8K.

I was surprised at how much help I received - nice, pleasant associate - was very helpful.

I like to come to Home Depot for the deals and from the cashiers like Jeanette at the salinas Home Depot!!

Good over all, there was a short side for parts avaliable.

I admire Home Depot RECOGNIZING military discounts thus saving money with budgeting needs. The checkout cashier (Bexeny) was the only cashier during the am hours. The wait time varied depending on the customer need(s) which really didn't bother me until it was my turn. I waited for an additional near 10 minutes while Bexeny rang requesting assistance 3x to get approval for my over the limit military discount. I thought that was totally redundant being she's an employee who should all be trusted approving military discount regardless of limitations. I must say Bexeny kept a very positive attitude while waiting for assistance entertaining myself and other waiting customers with pleasant conversation. Then, recognizing Robert who works outside helping customers loading heavy items quickly came over to assist my handyman. I can't say enough appreciative things about Robert. A gentle giant who is ALWAYS polite and professional when helping the many customers with their heavy loads. Every time I see Robert, always take the time recognizing him with a pleasant greeting. Also want to give kudos to one of the managers name Ephriam (sp??). I bought this matter to his attention and agreed this matter should be given further reviewed. Overall, GREAT people and appreciate the manager taking the time to listen in hoping this situation will improve efficiency of military discounts and proper staffing knowledge.

People are so friendly and willing to go the extra mile to get what you need.

Product was in stock and there were no lines at the register. Just the way I like to shop.

Store associate made our purchasing experience hassle-free. He was knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly.

Get someone in the garden shop who actually knows something about gardening and what products HD sells. I am tried of staff who are lazy and only talk to one another. I am tired of both the young woman and the old man who cashier in the garden shop who are rude and know nothing about any product sold by HD. Since they have nothing to do but stand around and talk to one another all day how about having them go online and learn what products HD sells instead of telling me that garden irrigation kits do not exist. Lazy people young or old shouldn't have jobs they refuse to work at. I will not go into HD again to be insulted by these people again. I will do all ordering online! End of rudness!

Associate very helpful found product (goof off) exactly where she told me.

Associate in the kitchen and bath design section was amazingly helpful and made the whole experience pleasant. He really listen to what my ideas were and made them a reality on a reasonable budget!
