Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
Home Depot stores sent approximately 5.3 million pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63,500 trees, keeping over 16,000 trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saving over 50 million gallons of water, and conserving 7.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment, as well as our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.
Welcome to the San Fernando Home Depot. It's a great day to get started on a new home improvement project.

What types of moving boxes do you offer?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving or storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Do I need a generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
Should I make siding repairs now?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be headed for trouble. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roof panels for damage or rust that could let water in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check brick and cinder block for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, change vinyl siding and chimney caps if in poor condition.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
