The experience: At the store is at times to find out that the item you have on hand is the actual one shown on the box label or stated on the shelve. Other times is to get through to an Associate what you are actually looking for and the use of it. Once you cross over, it's a piece of cake. One thing that really gets me, is to find a partially blocked isle by the stores equipment (which at times is just setting there) and having to navigate through the display boxes on the floor and other shopper's carts blocking as well. There are some instances where more lighting is needed to see and read items descriptions, but it seems most of the newer Home Depot stores don't have this problem. Wish there were some improvements to ease one's shopping experience. However, I will continue to shop there, at the San Leandro store, when every I am in the area. I do have one close by where I live, but I first started at San Leandro and there are times I get confused at the one by home and loss time shopping. One thing I want people to know, it Home Depot does not carry the item, they will direct you to a competitor who might carry it. That to me is EXCELENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The store is clean but the products are messy on the selves

JP MOREAU is an associate and he is an amazing employee. He really wants to help the customers that come in. He is a great multitasker we would definitely come back to shop at this store.

The store was well stocked. I was happy with the service from Chase in hardware. He checked whether or not H. D. can provide an installer for a set of shower doors.

My transaction did not go as I anticipated! Highly disappointed

Easy to shop with the mobile app! Friendly associates. Except that rude guard on the exit door. He let other people go out straight. But when He saw me walking towards the exit he made a "come over here" gesture with his two fingers. He checked everything including my baby's diaper bag and stroller. (At that time my baby was sleeping.) bad experience but overall without the guard was good.

the associate diana was really helpful at checkout i told her I wasn't able to find an item and she went above and beyond on trying to look for it and getting it to me. I left a happy camper

I have nothing to say bad about this store, the associates where kind as well as helpful, store was clean, and I had no trouble getting in and out I had two orders one in the store, and the other was online pick up, which I think is the greatest plus I was able to make my in store purchase right there at the customer service desk which is right at at the front door, I'm a senior so that was all in my favor..keep up the good work.

The store management pays utterly no attention to customers trying to check out. Normally the lines for check out are long and only one or more register is open. 1st thing in the morning even the check your self out registers are shut. When I talk to other people I work with they all say the same thing. This stores service is abonable

It would be nice if all the stores had the same layout. They all carry the same materials. I had an bad experience with one of your older employees he was very unhelpful and not able to do his job do to his job. I asked for help and he responded that he wasn't on the clock yet. And later I saw hi helping another guy with drywall, when I asked for his help he said he didn't work there and that he couldn't call me a rep for that department. He didn't try to assist me when I asked him for help moving a single half inch drywall sheet when he did help he gust threw it on the ground and said he wasn't able to lift a 20 lb sheet. Maybe he shouldn't work on the floor. Overall you need to find the old guy and give him notice sorry we are all here to do are job if he cant then so long is my opinion.

after checking out a price for an item at the Home Depot and at a competitor's place, I found the Home Depot's price more reasonable, including the delivery and removal of my old stove at my home.

There always seem to be associates around talking to each other and sometimes its difficult to gethere attention

I wasn't sure how easy it was going to be to return a universal Black and Decker battery charger. However, the associate processed the return in under a minute, giving me options on how I would like the money refunded. There was only one other person in line in front of me on a Monday evening (Memorial Day) and I think it was because the associate moved people through the checkout process so efficiently.

I was very happy with the sales person who walk me throu the whole process from picking up the best one to buying the excellent Home Depot warranty
