Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store reduced energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

Do you have moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements knock it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
What home repairs should I make sooner rather than later?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roof panels for damage or rust that could let water leak into your home. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check brick and cinder block for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, replace chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or a nearby window when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
