Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.
Welcome to the Toms River Home Depot. We are ready to help you start your next home improvement project.
Whether you're looking for tool chests or window air conditioning units, your favorite local hardware store has you covered. Get in and out, then back to the task at hand. You can also explore our Home Depot product locator app, which displays the aisle location, store map, and current inventory available for the items you want.
At The Home Depot, we value getting involved in our local neighborhoods. We support several veteran projects, and we also work closely with many local schools and groups.
You can find us at the intersection of Route 9 and Lakewood Road, near the Winding River Skating Center, west of Seaside Heights and Cattus Island County Park. We look forward to seeing you in our aisles. Remember to check the local ad before you arrive to know which items are on promotion.
Sincerely,
The Toms River Hardware Store Team

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements knock it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Why should I repair my roof before spring severe weather arrives?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing any faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for major repairs later. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder block and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, change vinyl siding and chimney caps if damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
