The Home Depot Rental Center at Tulsa Central

Tool and Equipment Rental
Kick off your next DIY project with confidence and the best tools. Let The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in Tulsa Central fill in the gaps in your toolbox with the items you don't have on hand. Rent what you need and bring it back when the job is done. If it turns out the rental tools would be more useful than you thought, inquire about buying our retired rental tools. The retired rental tools are discounted compared to the new items in our aisles.

Tame the Lawn and Trees Early
Greet the spring with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the lawn and shrubs with edgers and rental lawn mowers, and get that sidewalk and driveway clean again with a pressure washer rental. Your outdoor oasis will be looking fresh and ready for new spring flowers before you know it.

Add Insulation When the Weather is Cooler
To make your home more energy efficient, upgrade your insulation in the spring, if possible — before it gets dangerously hot in the attic. Rent equipment made for insulation to install it correctly. Decide between a fiberglass blower or a cellulose insulation blower, and get those nooks and crannies insulated properly. Installing insulation keeps your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, all while tempering your heating and cooling bills.

Truck Rental
For transporting large tool rentals or anything else, we keep flatbed trucks and cargo vans ready to roll — with availability varying by store. We also offer Penske moving trucks ranging from 12-foot to 26-foot lengths at certain stores. You're sure to find the right size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for DIY and storage projects, it's easy to make us your go-to source for transport and moving as well.

Large Equipment Rentals
Handle expansive projects with professional power equipment. Our large equipment rentals give you the power you need to finish the job. From the boom and scissor lifts to give you a boost to the mini skid steers for hauling materials, we've got an expansive variety of equipment available. If a large equipment rental could help you, explore and see what we've got in stock.

Although we're calling out specific tool, truck, and large equipment rentals, not everything is available at every rental center. If you've got a particular truck in mind, please contact your local rental center to see where you can pick it up.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I rent a truck, tool, or piece of large equipment?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools or trucks you can rent. If you want confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a truck, tool, or large equipment. You might also visit our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is in stock at your favorite store. For more information on renting large equipment or tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, which includes terms and conditions for the equipment.

Can I rent a tool or large equipment for a week?

You can rent large equipment or tools for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY jobs may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I bring the tools back?

You're welcome to return the tools early if you complete your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off mud and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Can I rent a truck for a few hours?

Rent a truck or cargo van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Be sure to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you must return it to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the provided documentation before choosing your truck.

Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?

Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Note the fuel level when you receive the truck, and fill it with enough gas to match that level. When you don't refill the vehicle, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Do I just need a driver's license to rent large equipment or a truck?

No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements. Large equipment or select tools also require ID verification via CLEAR.

How do I get my large equipment rental?

Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment dropped off at your job site for a reasonable cost — at your home or out in the field. We'll need at least 24 hours notice so we can adequately prepare your rented equipment and you'll need to rent it for a full day. Speak to an associate for the ideal way to get your large equipment.

What are some ways to avoid extra fees and penalties on my large equipment rentals?

Treat your large equipment rentals as any other vehicle: Make sure you obey traffic laws and it's parked legally. Read the manual so you're using it correctly to avoid damaging the equipment or injuring yourself. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are. If you cancel within 12 hours of your scheduled delivery, you'll pay a cancellation fee. Extend your rental period if you need extra time so you won't get charged a late fee.
