When it's time to make the leap into a major home improvement project, you might not have everything you need in the garage or shed. That's when you should stop by The Home Depot Valdosta Tool Rental Center.
Tool Rental
Our tool rental options expand your toolbelt and toolbox with the precise tools you require to complete the job. It's impractical to keep a specialized tool when you're rarely reaching for it. When you're considering a new tool, give it a spin first before you select which one to buy. Whatever your situation, we have the tools you're looking for.
Make Painting Easier with Paint Sprayers and Rental Scaffolding
Take advantage of warmer weather to paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get professional coverage and work much faster than you would with a brush or roller and a paint tray. Scaffolding rentals help you reach high places when painting fences, houses, and sheds. We carry step ladders and extension ladders for medium or smaller jobs, so you won't have to wait when you're ready to get that job done.
Rent Shop Vacs, Post Hole Diggers, and Floor Sanders
Tackle major jobs with robust power tools. Get your garden bed ready for spring with a tiller rental or ensure fresh sod lays just right with a sod cutter. Construct a new fence around your pool or property more efficiently with a post hole digger rental, then use other concrete tools to securely set your fence posts.
Truck Rental
If it's time to start your move but you lack the wheels to do it, come to The Home Depot Truck Rental Center. From cargo vans and flatbed trucks to box trucks and Penske moving trucks, we've got the transportation you need. Get the correct size for your project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. Rent a truck to check off more DIY jobs from your list. Check with your local rental center for availability, as it changes.

How do I rent tools or trucks?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which trucks or tools you can rent. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a truck or tool. You can also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your store. For more information on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.
Can I rent a tool for a day?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement projects may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, month, or day, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
How long can I rent a truck?
Rent a cargo van, box truck, or pickup truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Be sure to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before selecting a truck.
Should I refill the rental truck with gas before I bring it back?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Match the level of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. If you don't, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
