I used to shop at the Depot and they were marginal, After Lowe's came to town the Depot went to the highest level of customer service and product selection. Keep up the fantastic work!

looking at paint for less than 30 seconds, advice (needed) from assistant was timely. helped select paint and finish. wife already had colors. guided us to color mixer, took care of everything. made for a very smooth visit . on to the paint job thank you very much

Nice store. Needs more checkout cashiers. Store needs new equipment to carry stuff out of the store. The carts are old and damage.

I frequently shop at Home Depot in Vallejo and other Bay Area locations for my occupation and hobbies. The store associates are helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. I often find good prices for what I need.

I was in the building department to by a 4x4 post and the associate was happy to get it down and in my basket and then to the hardware department today. The Associate Staff was very helpful in assisting with finding the right brackets. The store was clean as was the parking lot! When I had all my goodies in the cart the checkout experience was a breeze.

The product that I wanted was available. The outdoor light fixture had amazing capabilities - dawn to dusk, motion detector & it was even water resistant. The female store associate/cashier was mindful, kind and helpful. Thanks so much! I will be back when needing to fix up my home.

Not only was she fast, friendly and efficient at handling my return, but she also handled my replacement purchase right on the spot! Thank you. Earlier in the survey, I used all 1,000 words to detail how much help and guidance was provided by James "F" in Plumbing. However, I forget to state that I am totally deaf with a cochlear implant, thus I am doubly appreciative. In spite of my disability James offered assistance and guidance and saw to it I was completely confident in the purchased I made. He explained every aspect of selection criteria. I would not shop at Home Depot unless there were friendly, responsible, honest and dedicated staff, like James F., to help customers and ensure their satisfaction. I appreciated his patience and dedication; even though my purchase was a small one compared with all the construction purchases that are the norm. He return to help me after being called away to help others. I consider myself quite fortunate to have had James' assistance. Thank you Home Depot and James. KH

I live close and go to the store often. I'm always greeted and welcomed. If I need assistance it's always helpful and friendly. My favorite Home Depot!

I am familiar with Home Depot but I was looking for something that I didn't have a clue where to look. A nice employee, who was going on his break, helped me find the product. He was funny and happy and didn't begrudge the fact that he was taking a few mins. out of his "break". The cashier was really nice too!

The gardening department is well laid out and uncluttered. The plants are well watered and healthy looking. Now that spring is here there are many varieties of plants; herbs, veggies, indoor and outdoor plants, arriving daily. Weekends can be a full house but the weekdays are less crowded and you can meander about with ease.

I don't see a good reason why this store can't have more than one cashier to handle extremely long lines and to top it off this cashier chose to resolve a account problem for more than 15 minuets! while ten people had to wait and some could hear the details of the account. PS: I purchased lumber so I could not use the self check out.

Store employee needs to receive customer service training.

Although difficult to find a person with knowledge, if you do find someone, you will have actually found someone who can teach you something new. I really enjoy the fellows at the plumbing and electrical department, they are usually well rounded knowledgeable guys with loads of experience and are willing to share some trade secrets.

My only complaints 1. Sometimes stuff is out of stock. 2. I'd like to see more low price alternatives, especially in the paint section. What's good about the store 1. Huge selection. 2. Employees knowledgeable and super friendly.

I was there for a lot of things - blinds, paint, plants, scrap wood for my wall art. The associate Derrick Scott was amazing. It all started by me asking him if he could show me some wood floor samples and he asked what I needed it for. Turns out he is very creative and has passion for all of the things I'd like to do like woodworking, gardening, baking, cooking and the conversation led to learning more about how he enjoys working at Home Depot, etc. He helped me with the scrap wood which I got at 70% discount, with vegetable gardening tips. knowing him made my day. He moved from Virginia and working at Home Depot was not part of his plan and he ended up having a great job. Considering that my morning started out bad by being rear-ended, going to Home Depot and meeting him and learning from him made my day very special.

There was shopping carts in the isles and when I was looking for a store clerk (witch happens every time I come to this store) they see me and turn around and scurry away. Usually the clerks are nice but it seems like I'm bugging them. Every time I go there someone is smoking by the entrances, the clerks are usually in the parking lot smoking. But I usually find what I'm looking for at a decent price.
