The Home Depot Rental Center at Victorville

Take on any new home improvement project with the tools you need — even if you don't have them on hand. Rent the tools, use them, and bring them back when you're done. Complete your project without taking up your garage or shed with tools you only need every so often.

Tool Rental
The Home Depot Victorville Tool Rental Center helps you handle more complicated DIY projects. You won't be limited by only what you have on hand or have to settle for untrustworthy hand-me-down tools. Rent quality tools to complete your project confidently and safely. If your local store doesn't have the tool in stock, it could be at another store within driving distance.

Make Painting Easier with Paint Sprayers and Rental Scaffolding
Take advantage of longer spring days and paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get professional coverage fast and make surfaces look new again. Scaffolding rentals help you reach high locations when painting fences, houses, and sheds. We carry extension ladders and step ladders for small to medium jobs, so you won't have to wait when inspiration strikes.

Tame the Bushes and Lawn Early
Greet the spring with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the yard with a rental lawn mower and leaf blower rental, the trees and hedges with a chainsaw rental, and the driveway and sidewalks with a pressure washer. Your outdoor oasis will be looking fresh and ready for new spring flowers before you know it.

Rental Trucks
For your transport needs, we keep flatbed trucks as well as box trucks ready for rental — with availability varying by store. We also offer Penske moving trucks in sizes ranging from 12-feet to 26-feet at certain stores. You're sure to find the right size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your job on track. As your source for packing, DIY, and storage, it's simple to make us your source for moving and transport as well.

Large Equipment Rentals
Handle expansive projects with pro equipment. Our large equipment rentals give you the power you need. From the boom and scissor lifts to give you a boost to the mini excavators for hauling materials, we've got an expansive variety of equipment available. If a large equipment rental could help you, explore our selection to see what we've got in stock.

Although we're calling out popular truck, tool, and large equipment rentals, not everything is available at every rental center. If you've got a particular piece of equipment in mind, please contact your local rental center to see where you can pick it up.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I rent large equipment, trucks, or tools?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what tools and trucks are up for rent. If you want to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a truck, tool, or large equipment. You might also visit our truck rental or tool and equipment rental pages to see if what you need is at your store. For more information on renting tools or large equipment, read our Tool Rental FAQs, which includes equipment terms and conditions.

Can I rent large equipment or tools by the hour?

Large equipment rentals and tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and major projects aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent large equipment and tools by the day, month, or week, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I bring the tools back?

It's fine to return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Can I rent a truck for a few hours?

Rent a box truck, cargo van, or pickup truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Be sure to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you must return it to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract before you choose a truck.

Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?

Yes, please fill up the truck before you bring it back. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you received the rental. When you don't refill the rental vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Do I just need a driver's license to rent large equipment or a truck?

No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck. Large equipment or select tools also require ID verification via CLEAR.

How do I receive my large equipment rental?

Depending on your location, you can get large equipment dropped off at your job site for a reasonable cost — whether that's at your home or out in the field. You'll need to rent it for one day or longer and provide us with 24 hours notice so we can prepare your rental delivery for you. In places where delivery isn't available, speak to an associate for the ideal way to get your large equipment.

How do I avoid penalties and extra fees on my large equipment rentals?

Treat your large equipment rentals as any other vehicle: Make sure you obey traffic laws and it's parked legally. Read the manual so you're using it correctly to avoid injuring yourself or damaging the equipment. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are, as cancelling within 12 hours of delivery means you'll incur a cancellation fee. Extend your rental period if you need extra time so you won't get charged a late fee.
