When you're ready to leap into a home improvement project, you might not have the specialty tools you need in the workshop or shed. That's when you should stop by The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in Vineland.
Tool Rental
Our tool rental choices expand your toolbelt and toolbox with the precise tools you require to complete your project. It's not necessary to purchase a specific tool when you're not using it at least once a week. When you're considering a new tool, do a trial run before you select which one to get. Whatever your situation, we have the tools you're looking for.
Make Painting Easier with Rental Scaffolding and Paint Sprayers
Take advantage of warmer weather to paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get optimal coverage and work much faster than you would with a brush or roller and a paint tray. Ladder rentals help you reach elevated locations when painting fences, houses, and sheds. We carry step ladders and extension ladders for small to medium jobs, so you won't have to wait when you're ready to get that job done.
Rent Shop Vacs, Floor Sanders, and Post Hole Diggers
Tackle major jobs with reliable power tools. Get your garden bed ready for spring with a tiller rental or ensure fresh sod lays just right with a sod cutter rental. Construct a new fence around your home more efficiently with a post hole digger rental, then utilize other concrete tools that suit your project.
Truck Rental
To move large tool rentals or anything else, we keep pickup trucks and cargo vans ready for rental — with availability varying by store. Choose the right size truck rental for your project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your source for DIY projects, packing, and storage needs, it's easy to make us your source for transport and moving as well.
To get transportation and tools for your moving or DIY project, check out The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center in Vineland. Renting the correct tools for the job makes a difference. We're here to help you get that DIY project done.
How do I rent a tool or moving truck?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools or trucks you can rent. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You can also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is available at your store. For more information on renting tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.
Can I rent a tool for an hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I bring the tools back?
It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I choose how long to rent a truck?
Rent a truck or cargo van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Be sure to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the documentation before selecting a vehicle.
Should I refill the rental truck with gas before I bring it back?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Make a note of the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the truck, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
