Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our eco actions.

No matter what home project you've taken on, we're here to help you finish it. From mini fridges to window air conditioning units and garbage disposals, you'll find it at your Woodridge Home Depot. Let our associates get you in and out with the supplies you came for. At The Home Depot, getting involved in our local community is important to us. We support Woodridge High School.

Do you carry specialty moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms, blizzards or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements knock it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
How can I prepare my home for spring temperature changes?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could headed for major repairs down the line. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder block and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be replaced if they're damaged.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
