Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store reduced energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like wind and solar.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.

Do you have moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Why should I get a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances life throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements knock it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing any faulty or broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check cinder block and brick for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped if they're damaged.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or a nearby window when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
