Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a grill sale for the 4th of July?

Freshen up your appliances now and enjoy them for years to come. Shop our 4th of July Appliance Sale for affordable upgrades on refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers. If you're all set with appliances, you can also save on bath accessories, grills, and patio furniture. It's easy to shop The Home Depot 4th of July Sale that runs from June 16th through July 9th with our mobile app or at your local store.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

How can I prepare my home to weather strong storms?

Make certain your house is ready for severe storms by replacing any faulty or broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water seeps into the crevices, you could be in for major repairs later. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or roof shingles for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be clear and functional to prevent water from pooling on the roof. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, replace chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're damaged.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
