About This Product
The 21 Gallon Auto-Open Infrared Trash Can by Nine Stars has an infrared motion sensor and a hands-free automatic opening lid to make trash-throwing easy, hygienic and efficient. It boasts manual open/close buttons, a power-saving on/off switch and a garbage bag retainer ring to keep the bag secure. This stainless steel trash can is rust-proof and easy to clean. I have had mine for a couple of weeks now, and mine does the same thing. The batteries are brand new and the lid seems to be functioning as it should. I would have to believe that the blinking light is a normal function of this trash can
The directions say there is a soft open and close option, but they don’t say how to toggle that option on. Right now it opens and closes extremely fast and the sound is kind of jarring. Hoping someone can help me figure this out
