Used it in my bathroom , after using it on my kitchen backsplash , I just did one wall in my bathroom , it’s been over a year and it’s holding up vey well highly recommend
The PRO-543 Universal is a resin based adhesive and therefore is not considered strippable. Please consult your wallcovering manufacturer's installation instructions for the appropriate adhesive for the type of wallcovering you are hanging. The Home Depot now carries the PRO-880 Ultra Clear Strippable Adhesive, which is a starch based adhesive and is considered removable.
Yu can use a drywall primer/sealer prior to using this adhesive. Mike
I am sorry I can’t be more help to you because my walls were already painted. I can say this… I personally WOULD maybe paint the wall with a white primer coat first just to be on the safe side. That’s just my opinion. I would do this rather than find out later your paper is peeling and have to do it all over again. I like to do things once as I am lazy. Lol. Best to get it right the first time around.. Good luck in whatever you decide.
