Thank you for you question! Our Delicate Surface Painter's Tape is best when used with latex paints, and we cannot for certain if they tape will work for your application. There are user who have had success using FrogTape with caulk, but we recommend testing first.
Hi Kristine - Yes, we recommend using Delicate FrogTape on wallpaper and other delicate surfaces.
Thank you for your question. Our Delicate Surface FrogTape has a clean removal time of 60 days. We cannot say for certain how the tape will react when left on for 3 months.
Thank you for your question, Marie. We do not recommend using Delicate Surface FrogTape for this application due to it's low adhesion. We do have other painter's tape that you can use, however we do recommend testing first because not all have the Paintblock Technology. We would recommend testing Pro Grade Blue, Pro Grade Orange (no Paintblock Technology), High Bond (no Paintblock Technology). https://www.frogtape.com/products
Thank you for your question, Sandy. This tape is recommended for use on finished wood, fresh paint (dry to the touch), coated wallpaper, veneer, laminate, vinyl and drywall (primed only). If you wish to use it for your application, we would advise testing first.
Yes, good to paint baseboards that butt the carpet
Thank you for your question, Betsy! We would not expect the Delicate Surface FrogTape to stick to carpet due to its low adhesion.
Hello. This tape is perfect for any paint job. It shouldn't remove the finish. I've had that happen to me before. That usually happens when we don't prep correctly, leave residue or dust. Or, if someone before you painted and didn't prep correctly, the paint will peel off easily. Good luck!
Thank you for your question, David! Due to the variety of substrates and finishes, it is always recommended that a test to replicate use be conducted in an inconspicuous area before masking.
It will prevent paint from getting on your cabinets. I would use the Frog tape for delicate surfaces. After painting, remove immediately. It won't take the finish off the cabinets.
I have used it on hardwood floors without it causing any damage, marks, or other issue.
I guess it’s tape
Yes it’s very gentle and leaves no residue
Thank you for your question! The Delicate Surface FrogTape can be used on finished wood, and has a 60-day clean removal.
No, I would not recommend it. It may ruin the floors like it ruined my walls
