Harmony 6x4 - how can you prevent the vent window from sliding off the roof spine and knocking off the end cap? The stopper can only be installed on the inside and so space at the end. Thank you!

I have a 6x4 Harmony. Vent window slides off from the roof spine (part #977) because rubber stopper (part #7009) can only be installed on the center part of the roof spine but no space to install on the edge (outside). Cap (part #343) does not hold/falls.
There wasn’t enough room to ask the question above. How do you prevent the vent window from sliding off the roof spine? Opening the vent window makes it slide and knock off the roof end cap. Thank you.
