Exactly what I needed. I used these to wrap my posts in the front porch. I ripped them to size with a table saw and nailed them in. They look amazing. Some before and after pics attached.

This material cuts nicely. I used it for facia on porch steps and secured it with ss finishing screws. I wish it was available in a larger selection of lengths and widths. I will buy it again!

I use PVC instead of wood in wet areas to eliminate rotting. In this case, I was rebuilding the frame of my hot tub, It had been turned into mush by 12 years of rain, snow and boring bees. I replaced all the 2X4s that contacted the patio with pressure treated wood and then used strips cut from this PVC board as a gasket/barrier between the wood and the patio. The frame had been sitting on 1/2 inch plywood so this gasket/barrier restored it to its original height and now seals the whole tub enclosure so water can no longer seep underneath.
