I have not cleaned mine yet since it was installed but it seems easy enough to clean.
It’s hard to clean because you have to completely dismantle the entire fixture
You can clean the outside of glass easily, however, in order to clean the inside of the glass, you will need to disassemble the frame and take it off for cleaning.
