Hi Height, if you lay this rosette on a table - FLAT ON A TABLE - it will be 3/4 in. high. To lessen the confusion, the dimensions for this product have been changed to accurately reflect the measurements as it is used (mounted to a wall). Hi Kenny, Creating a ballet bar using the Fusion handrail (Home Depot SKU's 985-022 for 8ft rail, or 986-079 for 12ft rail), and standard handrail brackets would be an excellent option.
