2 in. x 6 in. x 8 ft. #2 Premium Grade Fir Dimensional Lumber

I used these to build some planters, that I want thicker than the fence picket boards. They were very consistent, and no bone nice thick and strong. None of them have any moisture in them.

To build my keyhole garden (a raised container garden with a slot to access a composting basket in the middle) I got 12 of these and had them cut off 2-foot segments from each plank. So the 6-foot segments make the 3 long sides of the garden and the 2-foot segments make the shorter walls for the keyhole slot.

For my project I needed to rip the board in half, leaving two equal pieces. After cutting the board on a table saw, one half was left with a very large bow in the middle ~ 5/8".

This lumber worked very well for the planks on a deck we constructed. Photos show how nice the finished deck looks, and how pleased the customer is with the final product. We would definitely recommend this product to others as a quality product to purchase for deck construction, or other projects. The advantage to this particular lumber is no waste when building to an 8 foot dimension, keeping costs within a tight budget, yet getting a quality product, creating a quality job.
