How would this sink hold up in an outdoor kitchen?

The plumbing in our new house was just hooked up and tested. We noticed that a good bit of water does not drain from the sink. The sink is level and the plumbing was installed by a professional plumber. Is this a flaw in the design of this sink or did we just get a dud?
