Does this rug get matted down easily? Is it easy to vacuum?
Hello, thank you for your interest in our rugs. Shag rugs will get matted over time as all rugs do. If you rug gets matted, we recommend using a carpet rake. We recommend vacuuming with a canister vacuum with no beater bar attachment. Vacuuming should be done biweekly.
Rug says 8x10 and I just received it and it is only 7 1/2 x 10 Is this a factory defect?
Hello! Safavieh rugs may vary within a few inches. This is common in all Safavieh power-loomed rugs since it's woven by computer-controlled machines. This is a hand tufted Polyester pile rug. The most shedding will occur in the first few months. Over time, this will be less and less but it will still continue.
