Many opportunities exist within this S4S poplar board family. These top grade boards may be used for cabinetry, furniture, shelving, trim, hobby and other utilitarian work. This smooth-textured board can be painted or stained to compliment or match your homes decor. Unlike pine they do not allow bleed through and have less grain raise. Due to the similar grain pattern they can be stained to imitate other more expensive species, such as walnut or cherry. All our boards are double end trimmed with a molded finish providing a high quality appearance for any do-it-yourself or professional project. Also, our boards are SFI certified.

S4S is a lumber term that stands for surfaced four sides. It means the board has been planed smooth on all four sides, so both faces and both edges are smooth and ready to use.
It is 3ft. tall.
I would use a 3/4" thick minimum.
Please check with a store associate. Thank you.
MK83, We would need more information before we are able to answer your question.
We would need more information to answer this question properly. Indoor or outdoor? What part of the door? Thank you.
You would have to ask a Home Depot associate that question. Maybe if the material was delivered to the store an associate might cut it for you.
The actual size of this material is 1/2 in. thick, 1-1/2 in. wide, and 3 ft. long.
Yes. But, unless you are going to paint all 6 sides with good exterior paint, i wouldn't use it. I would use something impervious to the weather. Azek or a PVC board.
