Does this rug contain Latex? Is this rug approved for in-floor heating?
Hello! This rug contains a cloth and latex backing. The latex is non-toxic and is made from Rubber Tree Sap, which means that it doesn't contain outside fillers like clay and/or sand. The all-natural latex is safe and is not treated with chemicals such as: pesticides, formaldehyde or petroleum based additives. We don’t recommend this rug to be on a heated floor that exceeds a temperature of 85 degrees. If an indoor rug is placed on radiant flooring for a long period of time the backing may deteriorate.
