Questions & Answers

What type of pesticides are sprayed before hand?
ByMay 20, 2018
1 Answer |
Answer This Question

Hello Marie, We mainly use bio controls to combat against pests on our plants. We do use pesticides occasionally to ensure you receive a healthy plant with not bad bugs on it. The pesticides we do use are Neonicotinoid free and will not cause harm to any pollinators or humans that touch it. We time the usage of pesticides to ensure that it is not in your plants system at the point of ship. We only use pesticides that have less than a 24-hour active period. All chemicals dissipate long before it is put in a box and shipped to you. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact us directly at (734) 654-7485. Happy planting, Jared.

    Answer This Question

Hi ermie, The Supertunia Vista Fuchsia would do well throughout the summer in Central Florida. It requires part sun to full sun. It is a continuous bloomer and rebloomer. It is also heat tolerant and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. If you have any questions, please call our hotline (734) 654- 7485. Best regards, Stephanie

      Answer This Question

Hi pinkpointe, we would recommend around 4 Supertunia Vista Fuchsia plants as they are very vigorous and spread well, around 2 feet. We can also recommend planting them in a zig-zag pattern to allow them enough space to grow. If you have any other questions, feel free to call us at (734) 654-7485. Thanks, Hailee

Is this the new hybrid plant or the original?
        ByApr 7, 2017
        1 Answer |
        Answer This Question

Hi MJ, Yes, the Supertunia Vista Fuchsia is a hybrid variety that delivers an outstanding performance over the entire season, lasting an extra month in southern states and well into fall in moderate climates. They are bred to flower earlier, grow taller and wider, and grow more vigorously than other Supertunias. If you have any questions, please call our hotline (734) 654- 7485. Best regards, Fallon

            Answer This Question

Hi Ally, Good question. Many resources, such as the ASPCA, say that petunias, like the Supertunia Vista Fuchia, are non-toxic to cats and dogs. As with any plant your pet may ingest, make sure to keep them hydrated and watch for any signs that it is affecting their general health and behavior. If you have any questions please call our hotline (734) 654- 7485. Best regards, Fallon

The soil must damp and at room temperature when planting not in direct sunlight.

I am in 8B. Received the plants on 11/3 and planted them on 11/6. They really took off 2 weeks later. Now less than a month later, they look awesome. Fast growing. Vibrant color. Outstanding!

                          Looks Beautiful
My flowers arrived while in bloom so they looked great right out of the box. They were packed very securely in the box, no lost dirt, and pretty strong looking growth. I've had it about a week now and everything still looks fine. I have it in a raised planter and it gets a good amount of sun. We've been in a heat wave but the plant seems to be tolerating it just fine, no wilting or anything yet.

                          Supertunia Vista Fuchsia
I recieved my Supertunia in great condition. I posted a before planting pic. I'm looking forward to seeing how well this petunia does since this variety does not need to be deadheaded in order to keep producing blooms. Who has time for deadheading? It also is a fast grower for the impatient gardner. I have planted mine at the base of my mailbox which gets full sun throughout the day.

                          beautiful petunias
These flowers were delivered to the door in the box. They were beautiful, blooming, and well protected. They were not dried out; they were surprisingly moist. These gorgeous petunias sat on our porch for about a week before planting. They are surviving well in warm (81 degree) weather with moderate humidity (57%). They are a beautiful addition to our garden.
