the seat "cushion" does not come off the seat. It's affixed. Also hard as a rock and uncomfortable. I had to return the chair.

Received the chairs earlier than expected which was great...took about an hour to put together between both chairs.
I'm not sure of the weight capacity however the chair is very lightweight I was able to pick it up by myself and load it in my truck
The weight capacity is 300 lbs, but it is recommended to not exceed 250lbs
