Ireland Gray Oak Storage Queen Bed

This bed is 5 stars and 1 star so I settled with 3. The 5 star reason is because it really is a lovely bed. It looks beautiful, it has great drawers the two on either side are nice and deep, none of them open with the silky smoothness of some, but still not bad. Now, for the very important 1 star reason, and its for 1 reason alone, it's sooo squeaky, beyond squeaky. Like if you look at it wrong it squeaks. Every little movement, squeak. I'm not sure you can even breathe on this bed without it squeaking. And you can forget about any extra curricular activities unless u have the house to yourselves. And if you are thinking "ah how bad could it be?" Oo ho ho trust me my friend, its baaad. So thats my 2 cents. Oh also our mattress is fairly thick but with mattress and frame its 3 feet tall.

I was very satisfied with my purchase! Assembly, was pretty quick and didnt have any surprises. The delivery company did a great job! They were in contact with me and delivered on time and with no problems.

Although the Bed was fairly easy to assemble, there were some broken pieces. But honestly who is going to dissasmble a bed and take it back down stairs and order another box just to take it back

I have two issues with this bed. The first issue is the platform is not very sturdy and makes so much noise every time my son toss and turns at night. I can hear him from the other room.. i’m worried one day it’s going to break. My second issue is its supposed to be a full size bed but a full-size mattress wont fit. I had a full size mattress already and it was too small and narrow for the bed so I purchased another full-size mattress hoping that it would fit but it doesn’t fit either so i totally wasted money on that mattress. The bed is much wider than a full-size should be so the mattress does not cover the platform and you can see the screws, it doesnt look right so I have to buy a larger comforter that will hide the gaps all around the mattress. I do like the headboard and all the drawers but for what I paid Im not happy with my purchase and the quality of the platform.

Very nice and sturdy! The only complaints are that it’s a bit creaky and a couple of drawers will not stay on the tracks

It looks beautiful, but it does creak when your on it. The headboard on one side did not fit flush as it should. I tried everything. I won't be buying furniture from them again.

For the price, I was hoping for better quality. Four boxes wrapped in shrink wrap arrived on a broken skid by Estes. Two of the boxes were crushed and open. I was worried about that. Estes placed them in the driveway, and I was responsible for moving them, they were very heavy. The drawers were preassembled, that gave me hope. But when I started opening the boxes, all hope was vanished, and I knew I had my work cut out for me. I laid out all the materials and all the hardware. The Allen nut bolts are popular with these types of products, and I am not a fan of them. The directions recommended two people and would take 25 minutes. I was alone and calculated 3-4 hours. The directions were mostly good, the hardware was exact. I think the side rails (frame) should have inserted into a slot rather than be bolted on. The drawer slide rails should have been preinstalled for an exact alignment. There were six slats, I would recommend eight. There were six concealed panels that needed to be spaced apart, the instructions showed them side-by-side. I was never able to attach the “Z bracket”, and not certain of its purpose. Other reviews state that the bed is squeaky, it is. If you have family members in the household, you’d better use this for sleep only. I will contact the manufacture, but I doubt they will have any suggestions, if they respond at all. I value this product at $500.00 due to the pain of assembly and squeaky construction.
