What is the distance from bottom of the post to the top of the cross member? I have an 11 inch mailbox which leaves only 7 inches above the box (24 inch hole and 41 inch top of cross member) for me to see the "reveal" of the post and decorative shape.
Figures don’t seem to make sense. With 55” to crossmember leaves only 10”-14” in the ground to get to the 41”- 45” recommended height. Measurements in illustration show post sunk 24”, leaves crossmember approx 30”
