I don't have any hooks on my Gorilla platform. It could be an upgrade for handing for storage. Just a thought.

I’ve asked myself the same thing. They serve no obvious purpose. You can’t hang anything from them. If you look closely they have the word “REMOVE” embossed on them. So I did. 🤷♂️

Its breakable, I have two of them where the leg supports pop the rivet then it gets flimsy and legs start cracking. I need to warranty 2

In the flat/folded position can it be placed between two ladders across the same height rung to be used as a scaffold plank
Not designed that way but is strong enough to support up to 300 pounds.
This item was no designed to be used as a scaffold plank.
I haven’t attempted using it as scaffolding. It’s very sturdy and a well made product. If you decide to use as scaffolding consider the maximum weight limit and product safety precautions, unfold the legs to secure the (bottom latter) from sliding outwards and secure the bottom with the top of each. As always, when working in unfamiliar settings, make sure to have another person assisting and use all safety measures available. The first
I would think so but not sure how safe it would be unless secured to the supporting ladders. The main support is strong enough with or without the legs down, but stability is the question that you must be confident with.
I don't see why not. It's very sturdy. Just make sure you secure it very good between the ladders.

Yes, the legs fold flat. If your stair is the correct height I would trust it to hold you. I weigh 260 and these are rated for 300 lb
