Personally, I would not use it for paint stripping. This is a plastic knife & has too much flex in it.
I have done that with these, they are good because the wood is usually soft from the stripper making it easy to gouge with a metal scraper.

It was actually a bit difficult; however, I did try to remove the paint in other ways. I found the method of allowing the paint to dry and then lift the droplets with the putty knife. The acetone was damaging the stain on my wood floors, so I immediately stopped. I hope this helps
