One of the product images says 'easily change sander sheets with hook and loop pad' while the product snapshot section says that it does not use the hook and loop system. So does that mean this is a PSA sander that can also accommodate a H&L pad?
The DEWALT DWE6423 sander uses a hook and loop pad for sanding discs and does NOT accommodate PSA pads. It is designed specifically for 5" discs with an 8-hole dust extraction pattern using the hook and loop attachment system.
Will any ridgid vacuum hoses connect to this without purchasing an adapter?

Does the head of the sander, where sandpaper attaches, actually turn up to 12000 rpm's like it says on website under details?

What size wire for electrical cord replacement on Dewalt DW411 palm sander.
For the DW411, the plug is part number 234900-02 and the cable is part number 448557-98.
Can this be used as a polisher
No, the DWE6423 is not recommended for use as a polisher, as it operates at a faster speed that a polisher would.
Such contradicting answers on here! It's 2025, does this come with pads and sand paper? How can some people say YES and some NO? Nor a dust bag or carry case? So if you buy the model thats cheaper w/ one speed, you get the carry bag, and duster?
Just bought the $99 version and it did not come with bag or sanding pads
The model DWE6423 includes the DWE6423 Variable-Speed Random Orbit Sander and a dust bag.
